Cut a thin strip

Use a narrow strip of paper or string long enough to wrap around the finger you will wear the ring on.

Wrap it tight

Wrap it firmly around your finger. A loose wrap will measure too large and can lead to the wrong size.

Mark and measure

Mark where the paper meets, lay it flat, and measure the length in millimetres. Between sizes? Go down.
